Sukkot

Sukkot is an exciting time at Congregation Etz Chaim, we've just finished Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur and we turn our attention to the holiday of Sukkot.

Our Men's Club spearheads the building of our sukkah complete with a Brunch to thank the workers and the decorators. Each year new items adorn the walls and ceiling beams and we hang the newest sukkah panel, part of the JCC's "Under One Roof" art project.

Once it's built - well people just come! They come to enjoy lunches in the sukkah after services, they come to eat bagels and lox after morning minyan and they come for our annual chili dinner in the sukkah.

While the weather usually cooperates - if it rains we simply move it inside complete with indoor bonfire, s'mores for the kids and loaded hot apple cider for the adults.

Be sure to Join us this year for our Sukkah Shabbat Dinner!
