I am pleased to welcome you to our web page and to tell you a bit about our synagogue.

Congregation Etz Chaim is one of Cincinnati’s newest shuls. It was founded by

Congregations B’nai Tzedek and Ohav Shalom in 2015.  The two congregations understood

that our communities shared many of the same values and the belief that we could achieve

more if we worked together; so we merged our congregations into one facility with a

ceremonial marriage. Therefore, you could call Etz Chaim a blended Conservative

synagogue family.

We are a community where everyone’s voice is welcomed.  We are a lay led congregation

that recognizes accepted modern ideas as well as the importance of tradition. We are located

in Northern Cincinnati very close to both I-275 and I-71 near the Montgomery, Blue Ash area of town, next to Sycamore High School.

Our synagogue is unique. Our membership cherishes the opportunity to lead and to participate in all aspects of our synagogue, be it ritual, social, educational or for most of us, a combination of all three. We understand the importance of Tikkun Olam and take pride in sharing our resources with other communities in need.

We invite you to join us for services. Shabbat morning services start at 10 a.m. Thursday mornings you will find us in the sanctuary at 7am and our service is followed by bagels, shots, lox and blocks (of cream cheese at 8am).  Friday evenings we have the liveliest service in town which begins at 6 p.m. with Kabbalat Shabbat.
